For the Woman I Love Most

From the primary years when everything was as simple as carrying me
just to pacify me or put me to sleep
To that stare you give me when I am already doing too much drama

From supporting me in my oratorical and declamation contests
To driving us to school
To cooking our food and even knowing where my things are

To your unwithering support especially in my college life
In those sleepless nights you stayed up late with me
In those faithful Ma-pagising-ng-maaga-kasi-di-ko-pa-tapos-aralin-yung-dalawang-subjects
and Wag-kayo-maniniwala-pag-sinabi-kong-mamaya-na-ko-gigising-pilitin-niyo-ko moments

To the things you taught me wrong and showed me right
For showing me that courage when many said that I stop
You said I must not
For showing that mother in you when you must

I may not be the that expressive to always tell you that I love you
Always know that I do
You have defied that word mother to us

We are always here for you
You have been there all through out

And it will always be an honor to be there for a woman like you

My letters to you before may have been more dramatic
but more than all these
I am more than thankful for you

From the bottom of my heart, I am more than blessed to have you around

Truly one of a kind

God-sent

I love you!
